Amy (the top picture) is a third grade teacher who is a born crafter! Her mom talks all the time about how she loved to imagine and create even as a tiny little girl. I am Cortney. I met Amy through my husband; they are cousins. I am a full time mom and wife and I love every second of it! You can also find me at
www.craftingwithheart.blogspot.com. After a couple of times of having game night, I just knew I wanted to be friends with her! We have so much fun crafting with each other and the greatest thing is that we teach each other new things all the time. We feel really lucky to be able to do something we love with each other!
We have been crafting together for a while now, but Creating Violet Skies was born in October of 2013. We have been so excited to get this project going! We decorated our first home this week and here are a few picture of what we did...
Our client asked us to decorate a 12 foot tree, her fireplace mantle, and her banister. We talked to her about colors, design, and anything extra she wanted.
One of our favorite things about decorating is that when we get to know the client, we can add special ornaments and little touches that we know that they will like.
